In the original video, the nerves are very prominent due to the shaky vocals and I lack diction. However, towards the end I gain more control and my vocals are steady suggesting I gain confidence with the song. My dynamics are very good in the original cover.

In the next video there is no evidence of nerves as my vocals are not very shaky and the diction is very clear. A bit of a slow start with my transition to the higher vocal register. However I maintained more control over the song that last year's video and showed some level of dynamic understanding.

In my vocal lesson I worked on grade 7 material. I sang 'American Boy' by Estelle and Kanye West. Once I had finished the song, Caroline suggested that rap Kanye West parts and add riffs into the bridge to increase my marks in the exam. I then went on to sing one of my performance songs, 'Ignorance' by Paramore. We worked on adding attitude to the song by pronouncing my consonants to make the sound harsh. In the chorus I need to practise using twang to make the sound consistently harsh in order to enhance the attitude of the song through my voice.
